Are you interested in getting your Amateur Radio Certification?

CARA likes to host both Basic and Advanced classes in the fall and winter.  The Basic classes normally start in Sept and the Advanced classes start in January.
These classes are not required to get your certificate, but they do help you go through the study material, and also provide in-person explanations of all of the technologies and explain the exam questions.

But if the class is not an option for you, what is a person to do to get their Amateur Radio Certificate?

Here are a few options:

1 - RAC offers Basic classes.

2 - RAC offers Advanced Classes

3 - There are several On-Line course being offered across Canada that are available if you wish:Radio Amateurs of Canada maintains a list of courses on-line across Canada.

4 - In addition, there are several community provided self-pace training websites that may be of interest.

See the page /Getting-Training for up-to-date course information.
