CARA General Meeting via Zoom Video

Our 2021 April 27 general meeting will be hosted on Zoom by President Dave VE6DED.  It all starts at 7:00 PM.  This Zoom gathering replaces our usual in-person gathering, which has been pre-empted by the Covid pandemic.

Besides a social gathering the following topics will be on the agenda:

• do members prefer a directed net on VE6RYC or a Zoom video conference?  We have been getting greater attendance with Zoom meetings.  The Zoom format has a side-bar chat window open so all attendees can engage in the conversation at any time.
• updates on things like storage, rallies, asset disposal, joint meetings with CSCC executive committee, renewing half the executive committee each year, tube bank, comm trailer
• do any members have CARA assets stored at their place that they would like moved to CARA storage?
• long term goal for the CARA repeater team would be to have a heated facility for storing equipment, and to have a workshop with tools.  This takes the load off CARA members using up their personal space in their homes, yards, and garages.
