2025 Rocky Mountain Rally

Over the September long weekend, the Rocky Mountain Rally organizing
committee learned of an imminent strike of some of BC’s 34,000 public
sector employees. As of, September 2, 2025, the BC General Employees’
Union has gone on strike, with picket lines set up in various spots in the
province. We are unable to predict which services the BC government will
retain as essential services but the organizers have no assurances that a
response to our road permissions requests would be dealt with in due course.
Unfortunately, with this uncertainty, we have made the difficult decision to
cancel this year’s event.
