The CARA comm trailer has proven to be an integral part of the car rallies with the Calgary Sports Car Club.  It will again be deployed at the Cochrane Winter Rally this coming Sunday as the base of operations for the event's net control team.  Location is the Waiparous Lookout on forestry road #940. 

N 51d 24.7777'  W 115d 1.8995' , on east side of forestry road 940 (Hwy 40), 42.1 km north of Hwy 1A.

Anyone wishing to be part of the crew that sets up the trailer in the morning, and then packs it up again at the end of the day is welcome to join in the fun.  We will be meeting at the McDonald's in Cochrane at 05:00 on Sunday, March 03 for coffee and snacks.  Address is 202 Fifth Ave, Cochrane.  We depart promptly by 05:15 to head out to the deployment site.  If you are familiar with the route to the site, be sure to meet us at the Cochrane McDonald's and just follow us out.

We will be monitoring VE6AUY on the way to the deployment site.
