Hi Folks, come join us at the Bomber Command “Museum (BCM) on the AIR” event on June 21st. The doors will open from 10 AM to 4 PM. Jerry Spring VE6LT will demonstrate a working Lancaster radio, and Cliff Linton VE6PLC will demonstrate DMR.
The BCM objective is to demonstrate the role communications and the wireless operator played during WWII. Vintage radios will be on display, and videos will run showing the role of the wireless operator and the technology during the WWII era.
Note that the museum has the call sign VA6BCM, and an antenna is being installed to make QSOs in the near future.
There will be Lancaster bomber engine runs at 11:00 AM and 2 PM to celebrate National Indigenous Day.
