If you would like to learn how to set up the tower trailer before field day, we plan to install a triband beam on the tower trailer mast after the flea market on Saturday, starting around 2 pm.
There are a few rust spots that could use a touch up with our cold galvanizing spray paint and we might need to install a ground lug on the base of the mast.
We will also get getting rid of the piles of metal and rubbish in the parking lot.
If we have enough time and people, we could also align the satellite antennas, get the coax receiving loop back up on the roof, pull the EME rotor cables through the conduits, test fit OCF antenna for new VHF tower, pull old coax cables out of the basement, etc.
What we don't get done on Saturday, we will continue to work on Sunday and the following Saturday morning before the CARA general meeting.
The weather forecast looks great!
