If you are planning to come to the CARA general meeting Saturday afternoon, why not make it a whole day event by lending a hand with station and antenna maintenance in the morning?
We will be completing the alignment of the satellite antennas, getting the coax receiving loop back up on the roof, connecting the new EME rotor cables, tuning an OCF dipole antenna, preparing a 902 vertical antenna and Heliax for the North tower, taking apart a triband beam, bundling the above ground coax cables, building an 80/160 M folded dipole to hang between the top of the two 100 ft. towers, adding water sensors to the sump pump pits and septic tank, installing whole building lightning protection and new telephone jack, fixing a ring rotor motor and much more. Something for everyone to do!
